Alex Winter, Bill from “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure,” joined the show to talk about his new movie at the St. Louis International Film Festival…and his ongoing 20+ year friendship with Keanu Reeves

The actor/director opens up about his new film about the nasty parts of the World Wide Web, and that time he and Keanu Reeves were mistaken for “Bill and Ted” look-a-likes…

Alex Winter played a burnout in the “Bill and Ted” movies, but he’s a director of music videos and documentaries now, and his new film Deep Web tackles the darkest, unknown parts of the Internet. The St. Louis native is screening his new film in town for The St. Louis International Film Festival, and came on The Carney Show to talk about the parts of the World Wide Web that we don’t know about (and don’t want to know about), and also about that time in New York when a stranger approached him and his friend and former co-star Keanu Reeves, to comment how they looked like Bill and Ted, only fatter….take a listen.
