St. Louis, MO (KTRS) – The Board of Alderman are meeting today, discussing a pair of topics before they take their two-month summer break.

The Post-Dispatch reports they will take up measures to increase the minimum wage and one to help keep the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency in St. Louis. Mayor Francis Slay initially supported raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour by 2020, but it faced stiff opposition. Slay has since thrown his support behind a bill that would raise the rate to $11 an hour by the same 2020.

The Aldermen could also vote to buy land in north city that could be used as a new site for NGA.
