This is a hands-on internship: Assisting on-air sports talent in screening phone calls, researching for shows, gathering and editing sound among other miscellaneous tasks for sports shows. Interns are expected to work odd hours including nights and weekends and will not receive monetary compensation but can receive college credit for their work. Interns must be at least 18 years old. Sales Account Executive
KTRS Radio is looking for sales professionals to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will be someone who can develop new client relationships through cold calling, networking, referrals from existing clients, have an innovative approach to client development and be a team player. This person will continually contact, develop and pursue direct advertising accounts and develop small business clients.
Responsibilities include soliciting new business through prospecting and cold calling, managing and growing existing assigned accounts/budgets, identifying clients’ advertising needs and developing and presenting customized solutions to meet those needs. These individuals are also held accountable for achieving sales budgets and collecting on the accounts.

KTRS job opening – Part Time Weekend Board Operator
KTRS, The Big 550 is seeking a weekend part-time board operator. This position is responsible for producing all on air transmissions, including running the radio station control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and ID’s according to program and commercial logs, following all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
Must have previous experience and High School Diploma. Must be able to perform with little supervision.
