Wednesday the Brown family agreed to remove the temporary memorial that sprung up just hours after Brown was shot
Ferguson, MO (KTRS) – Work is being done to re-pave the road in the area where Michael Brown was shot last year.
The Brown family agreed to remove the temporary memorial that sprung up just hours after Brown was shot. The memorial consisted mostly of flowers and stuffed animals and was moved to a nearby area–the family will decide what happens with the items.
Crews also completed work today to install a more permanent memorial of a plaque and dove. The two items are there to remember Brown’s life and the effect his death had on new policing practices.
