Golf legend Gary Player looks better than you do naked, and he’s 79 years-old. He also talked to Carney this week about The Masters, and his incredible lust for life.
Gary Player joined John Carney on the air to discuss his upcoming appearance here in town for The St. Louis Hall of Fame’s “Legends of Gold” event (where he and Nick Price will be inducted) on April 27th, but they also chatted about The Masters, where Gary “kicked” off play, and watched Jack Nicklaus drop a hole-in-one on the Par 3 Contest. Then things got a bit more *kinky* as we discussed his 2013 spread in ESPN The Magazines “Body Issue” (which he claims is one of the best things he’s ever done) and how he still keeps in shape after all these years – Gary is 79 years-old and still does 1,000 push-ups and sit-ups every day…..shooo….that was something we were going to start on Monday, we promise….
Gary’s lust for life and energy comes screaming across in this interview, and no matter if you love golf or hate it, you can’t deny his charm, as this legend of golf is on the short list of John’s best interviews.
Give it a listen!
