The restraining order remains in effect until a hearing on June 22
St. Louis, MO (KTRS) – A planned open carry demonstration at the St. Louis Zoo this weekend, may not be happening.
The Post-Dispatch reports that a judge granted the zoo a temporary restraining order that bars gun rights activist Jeffry Smith from entering the facility with a gun or weapon. Smith was calling on others to join him, with their handguns, at the zoo’s southern entrance at 1:30 PM Saturday. Smith’s plan was to defy the zoo’s rule that bans firearms and other weapons on the premises.
The restraining order remains in effect until a hearing on June 22.
