Mandatory Water Conservation Order In Wentzville Extended To Thursday

Wentzville, MO  (KTRS) A mandatory water conservation order for Wentzville is extended through Thursday.

City officials issued the order Monday afternoon as a result of a  36-inch water main break.  City officials say Public Water Service District #2 (PWSD2) expects to complete the repairs by late Tuesday evening. Once the repairs are completed, it will be necessary to leave the main out of service for up to 48 hours to complete testing.

While this main line is down, the city reports it’s only receiving one-third to one-half of its normal water supply.

This mandatory water conservation order means no lawn watering, no laundry, no car washing or other recreational or non-essential use. Commercial and industrial users are asked to conserve water use as much as possible.
