A Kansas City man is facing up to thirty years in prison after a traffic stop in St. Charles County led to felony enticement charges.

Twenty-one year old Dominique Carter allegedly met a 13 year old girl through a smart-phone dating "app."

Police say he enticed her to send him semi-nude photos, and then pick her up at her St. Peter's home. But a short distance away, he was stopped by police for failing to use a turn signal.

St. Charles County Prosecutor Tim Lomar told Fox 2 News that it was just luck that led to Carter's arrest. "The only way that the officer was able to come into contact with these folks in the first place," Lomar said, "was the fact that the defendant committed a routine traffic violation."

Besides the enticement charge, Carter is also charged with sexual misconduct and child endangerment. He's jailed in St. Charles County on a $50,000 dollar cash-only bond.
