Officials say no more sandbag volunteers needed in Portage Des Sioux
The call for sandbaggers at Portage Des Sioux had been answered.
St. Charles County officials say no additional volunteers are needed. KTRS's Michael Golde was at the scene earlier today and said that within an hour of the request for help on Monday morning, the number of sandbaggers nearly doubled.
Officials say the situation could change, it is unknown how long work on the sandbagging will continue.
Hundreds of volunteers needed to help in Clarksville, MO
In Clarksville, Missouri--which is about 75 miles northwest of St. Louis--volunteers are still needed to help with fill sandbags.
The town is currently experiencing minor flooding, but that is expected to be upgraded to major flooding by Friday night. The United Way and AmeriCorps are coordinating the volunteers and anyone 13 and older can sign up to help on the United Way's website. Volunteers between 13 and 18 years old need a guardian to sign up.
Officials say hundreds of volunteers are needed to save a historic portion of the Mississippi River town.

Donations for storm victims needed in Hazelwood
Hazelwood Mayor Matt Robinson says volunteer groups and businesses have dropped off some precious supplies for residents.The United Way will also be on site today (Friday) to help coordinate volunteer and donation efforts.
