St. Louis, MO (KTRS) - A pair of St. Charles County cities are warning residents about two separate abduction attempts.
Lake St. Louis police say that around 6:30 Thursday morning, they received a report of a white male offering a child candy. That child refused and went back into the house. The family called police. The suspect is described as a white man around 20 years old. He was wearing a red baseball cap and blue shirt.
O'Fallon, Missouri police heard the report and they had a similar incident Tuesday evening. The child in that case gave a similar description of a suspect. The two kids gave different descriptions of the car the suspect drove off in.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lake St. Louis or O’Fallon Police departments.
St. Louis, MO (KTRS) - Art McCoy is out as the superintendent of the Ferguson-Florissant School District.
The School Board and McCoy released a joint statement Wednesday afternoon saying that he was resigning from his position, effective immediately. The brief statement said the decision was mutual and that the "full resolution of these matters is in the best interests of the Ferguson-Florissant School District".
Not much is known about the trouble between McCoy and the School Board. In November, board members voted 6-1 to place him on paid administrative leave.
