UPDATE: Edwardsville gas main repaired after rupture
Monday, 25 February 2013 17:34 Published in Local NewsCrews were working to move cable and telephone lines hit the Ameren gas line along north Main Street, causing gas to build up under the street and in the basement of the nearby apartment complex. Electricity to that building was disconnected as a precaution.
Crews drilled through the sidewalk to reach the break and cap it. Residents were allowed to return home, but had no gas service.
MoDOT urges restricted travel during winter storm

Up to 13 inches of snow could fall in those areas. MoDOT says everyone should avoid travel unless it is an emergency. Crews need open roads to speed up the removal of snow during and after the storm. Mizzou has announced they will be closed Tuesday in anticipation of the storm.
St. Louis is expected to receive between 1" and 3" of snow.
Toddler found in home with meth lab in the basement
Monday, 25 February 2013 15:52 Published in Local News28-year-old Anthony Brady allegedly operated the lab out of his home in the 8500 block of Minnesota. While searching his home, police say they found meth, as well as pseudoephedrine and other items used to make the drug. Authorities also believe the toddler living in the home was exposed to the lab, which contained hazardous and highly flammable chemicals.
