Young man shot at bus stop in North St. Louis

A young man is in the hospital after police say he was shot while waiting at a bus stop in North St. Louis.

Officers were called to Northcrest and McLaran. Witnesses said the victim was standing at the bus stop when a suspect wearing a ski mask, walked up at shot the young man in the face. The victim was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. 

Life Skills looking to fill 150 positions

Life Skills is a St. Louis-based organization that helps people with developmental disabilities, specializing in autism, live and work in the community. Life Skills is looking to hire 150 people.

They are looking to fill both full-time and part-time positions. In some cases, no prior experience is necessary. Wendy Sullivan is the CEO of Life Skills and says she cannot remember a time when they had this many open positions. She says that shows the importance of the work they do and the need for help. Sullivan says it is a great way to get involved in the field, "It's great work. It's very rewarding. I'm the CEO, but I started in Life Skills in one of these positions, and I loved it."

The job fair is Wednesday from 3:30 to 6:30 PM at their Creve Coeur office. Attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume and be prepared for interviews. 

Mizzou quarterback Maty Mauk wins weekly award

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk was named the Southeastern Conference freshman of the week.

Mauk threw five touchdowns against Kentucky on Saturday to tie Chase Daniel's school record, and completed 17 of 28 attempts for 203 yards.

Auburn quarterback Nick Marshall and Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley are the SEC offensive and defensive players of the week.

The league also named Auburn punt returner/cornerback Chris Davis special teams player of the week on Monday.
