The broadcast news veteran began her radio career as a teen in the Land of Lincoln in her hometown of Springfield, Illinois.

Television news and documentary work soon followed in Cape Girardeau, MO and North Carolina. Her international award-winning documentary profiling North Carolina Baptist missionaries and Peace Corps workers in Africa is featured in the Museum of Broadcasting in New York City.

Victoria's television stints in St. Louis include reporting with KSDK-NewsChannel 5 and as Emmy award-winning morning anchor/co-host on KTVI-Fox2. Charter Cable’s “Get Hooked on Health" and "Smart Living” television shows on the Charter Network soon followed. In 2004, she produced and reported a documentary for the YMCA of Greater St. Louis, featuring St. Louis area teens and their journey to Russia and Ukraine.

Her foray into talk radio began a decade ago, hosting talk blocks and a health show on two St. Louis talk radio stations before coming to KTRS in December 2004. Victoria produced and served as co-host and fill-in host before moving to the news department in February 2009. Her exclusive radio interview series with Fenton-based televangelist Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries won the station first place in feature reporting from the Missouri Broadcasters Association in 2010. IN 2011, the KTRS newsroom won first place for Spot News for the New Year’s tornado in Sunset Hills.

A certified personal trainer, Victoria also hosted her own health and fitness show (Body By Babu) for over four years on KTRS and has raised thousands of dollars for several causes through her participation in marathons, triathlons and golf tournaments. Currently, she hosts "Smart Living with Victoria Babu”, Saturdays from 1:00-2:00pm. From time to time, you can hear Victoria filling in for the station's weekday hosts.

Victoria and her husband, David, have raised two daughters in St. Louis, love to travel, play golf, and try to keep their beagle, Blue, from eating everything in sight. They also enjoy giving back with their involvement in several charities, such as the Asthma & Allergy Foundation of St. Louis, American Heart Association, Parkinson’s, Our Little Haven and the Scleroderma Foundation of Missouri.

A graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Radio-Television from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Victoria enjoys mentoring budding journalists.

Susan Smith-Harmon

Susan Smith-Harmon is an experienced broadcaster and journalist who knows how to bring St. Louis audiences the news that matters to them. Susan comes from a long line of south-St. Louis natives, but spent her childhood all over the Midwest. She began her broadcasting career in public radio while still a student at the University of Missouri-St. Louis (where she earned a B.A. in Communications). She soon made the jump to A.M. news/talk radio, handling assignments from field reporting, airborne traffic, and the anchor desk, to producing and hosting daily talk shows.

Most recently, Susan has worked as a writer and reporter for a national news wire service and dabbled in TV news - producing traffic reports for KSDK-TV’s Today In Saint Louis.

As both a reporter and radio commentator, she’s interviewed hundreds of authors, celebrities, local elected officials and national news-makers. Some of her favorite assignments have included interviewing Willie Nelson on his tour bus, bringing fitness guru Richard Simmons to St. Louis radio callers, and meeting former Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and George H.W. Bush. But her most cherished media memory was helping out at the NCAA’s Junior Journalism Workshop at the 2009 Women’s Final Four Tournament in St. Louis. “Watching the first flickers of journalistic inquisitiveness sparkle in the eyes of junior high girls was really rewarding.”

Susan has built a reputation as a reliable source of information for St. Louis audiences during times of celebration and times national crisis and she’ll keep KTRS overnight listeners well informed with her intelligent, engaging style – bringing you the important stories of the day, along with breaking overnight news.

In addition to KTRS, Susan is a freelance voice performer, copy editor and aspiring romance writer. She’s a mom, a daughter, a Cardinal’s fan and an amateur gourmet.

Colin Jefferey

Colin Jeffery is the afternoon anchor for the KTRS News Team. He joined KTRS in March 2012. His top priority in covering the news is to provide objective and balanced coverage of the events in the St. Louis area. Colin was born in Houston, Texas, but spent most of his childhood in Phoenix, Arizona. He came to St. Louis to attend Washington University. While working his way through college, he met his wife, a St. Louis native. Together they have one child, a little girl. Colin grew up playing baseball, but without a major league team for most his time in Arizona, he has adopted the Cardinals as a hometown team. In his...

In his free time, Colin enjoys playing golf. catching up on his favorite TV shows, and taking walks with his wife.

Michael Golde

Michael Golde is the primary news reporter at KTRS. He can be heard throughout the week covering various newsworthy events around the St. Louis area. Golde’s first reporting assignment at KTRS was broadcasting live during the 2010 midterm elections. Since then, he has covered stories that include severe weather, crime scenes, parades, press conferences, and everything in between. Golde achieved national recognition, specifically within the baseball community, for breaking the story of Jaime Garcia’s 4-year contract extension with the St. Louis Cardinals.

Golde was born and raised in St. Louis. He grew up in Olivette and both sides of his family have extensive roots in the St. Louis community. Golde has been a Cardinals fan for as long as he can remember, and his all-time favorite non-broadcasting job was giving tours of the old Busch Stadium. Unfortunately, Golde’s baseball career was cut short following his sophomore year of high school when his coaches discovered that he lacked physical talent. Golde plays competitive table tennis in his spare time. His favorite television shows (in order) are The Wire, The Sopranos, Deadwood, and Mad Men.

Michael Golde is 2010 Broadcast Center graduate. He also attended the University of Missouri and Indiana University. He is a 2001 graduate of Ladue Horton Watkins High School in St. Louis.
