Four victims after a shooting in North County today.

The incident started at an apartment building just south of 70 in Berkeley. Police say there was an argument between two groups of people that escalated. Shots were fired and at least four people were hit. Two of the victims tried to drive to the hospital, but were pulled over by police near the Boeing facility on McDonnell.

All of the victims were taken to the hospital in serious condition. No word on any arrests in the case.

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Federal prosecutors in New Jersey have provided new details on how an international cybercrime ring broken up this week accessed some customer accounts at more than a dozen leading financial institutions and payroll services.

According to an amended complaint filed Thursday in Newark, the hackers used a number of unlawful means to obtain customer log-in information, such as usernames and passwords, to steal millions of dollars.

The government says no wider data breaches are alleged to have occurred.

Eight people are charged in the scheme.

Customer accounts were targeted at Aon Hewitt, Automated Data Processing Inc., Citibank, E-Trade, Electronic Payments Inc., Fundtech Holdings LLC, iPayment Inc., JPMorgan Chase Bank, Nordstrom Bank, PayPal, TD Ameritrade, TIAA-CREF, USAA, Veracity Payment Solutions Inc. and the payroll arm of the U.S. Department of Defense.

The call came in about 1:30 Thursday afternoon of a shooting on Cherokee Street; the Cherokee Place Business Incubator where several businesses are located. The victims' names have not been released, but we do know two men and two women, believed in their 40's or 50's, were killed at the A-K Home Healthcare office.

And we all look at for each other and I just think it is going to remind people that they need to be aware of their surroundings."

That weapon, a semi-automatic handgun, has been recovered.

17 people were hit by gunfire during one of the most violent nights in recent memory of St. Louis.

Over a five hour period that spanned Monday night into early Tuesday morning, gunshots rang out in seven separate incidents. The youngest victim in the shootings, a 13-year-old.

Police have not announced any connection between the shootings.

St. Louis County Prosecutors believe they have the man responsible for a series of armed robberies in North County this year in custody.

20-year-old Joshua Crosby faces several charges for the break in that started in February. Crosby allegedly robbed a Dollar General in North County then robbed a woman behind the store. Police connected Crosby to the crime using evidence from a series of other street crimes in the area.

Crosby was arrested in late February.

Police are looking for the suspect in a Creve Coeur bank robbery.

The suspect walked in to the Reliance Bank at Olive and Warson this morning, pulled a gun on the teller, and ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A repeat-offender is headed back to prison after he was convicted of robbing an Imo's delivery man.

Travis Moorehead will spend 20 years behind bars for the crime in early 2011. Moorehead approached the drive in Dutchtown, showed a gun, and took $30. Police caught his while he was running away. Police say the weapon he used in the recent crime was a replica BB gun.

In 2004 Moorehead was convicted for committing a separate burglary. 

Charges are filed against a man for shooting and killing a south St. Louis store owner during a robbery.

23-year-old Joseph Fox is charged with 1st degree murder, assault, robbery, and burglary. Police say Fox was robbing a convenience store in the 4400 block of Chippewa when he shot the owners. One of the victims was hit in the arm and survived. The other was shot and killed.

Fox is held without bond. 

BROOKLYN, Ill. -- AP  -- Investigators say they’ve identified the man gunned down outside a Metro-East strip club as a 27-year-old St. Louis resident.

Illinois State Police tell the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Michael Brooks was shot several times early Sunday outside Roxy’s Strip Club in Brooklyn. He died later at a hospital.

Authorities say Brooks had just stepped from his car when he was approached by two men who emerged from another vehicle.

The suspects fled.

There’s no immediate word on any arrests being made in the case.

The St. Louis Police Department says a suspect is in custody connected to fatal shooting at a south city convenience store last week.

The shooting happened on Friday on the 4400 block of Chippewa. Police say a suspect was trying to rob the store when one of the owners threaten the suspect with a baseball bat. The suspect then shot both of the owners, killing one and hitting the other in the arm.

Police cannot release more information on the suspect until warrants are issued.
