St. Louis store targeted by smash and grab robbers again
A Macintosh reseller has been the target of a smash and grab robbery again.
Police say thieves drove a white pickup truck through the front door of the Mac HQ store on Manchester Road. The thieves made off with several boxes of merchandise. The truck was found just a few blocks away--it had been reported stolen.
The Mac HQ store has been robbed four times in just the past few months, most recently on May 16. No word on any suspects in the case.
Man arrested for crime spree in North County
St. Louis County Prosecutors believe they have the man responsible for a series of armed robberies in North County this year in custody.
20-year-old Joshua Crosby faces several charges for the break in that started in February. Crosby allegedly robbed a Dollar General in North County then robbed a woman behind the store. Police connected Crosby to the crime using evidence from a series of other street crimes in the area.
Crosby was arrested in late February.
Imo's delivery driver robber head to prison
A repeat-offender is headed back to prison after he was convicted of robbing an Imo's delivery man.
Travis Moorehead will spend 20 years behind bars for the crime in early 2011. Moorehead approached the drive in Dutchtown, showed a gun, and took $30. Police caught his while he was running away. Police say the weapon he used in the recent crime was a replica BB gun.
In 2004 Moorehead was convicted for committing a separate burglary.
Man cleared of rape and robbery thanks to DNA testing
An East St. Louis man is back home after spending nearly four months in jail for a crime he did not commit.
The Belleville News-Democrat reports that DNA evidence cleared 20-year-old Marlon Miller as a suspect in a brutal rape and robbery. The victim was walking home from a Metrolink stop in East St. Louis when someone pointed a gun at her and forced to a secluded area, then robbed and raped her.
Miller may still be headed to court, he alleges that former East St. Louis detective Orlando Ward coerced a confession to the robbery and helped charge him with sexual assault. Ward was arrested last month for allegedly being a part of a drug ring.
Suspect in custody connected to fatal south city robbery
The St. Louis Police Department says a suspect is in custody connected to fatal shooting at a south city convenience store last week.
The shooting happened on Friday on the 4400 block of Chippewa. Police say a suspect was trying to rob the store when one of the owners threaten the suspect with a baseball bat. The suspect then shot both of the owners, killing one and hitting the other in the arm.
Police cannot release more information on the suspect until warrants are issued.
Second arrest made in AK-47 delivery driver robbery
Two of three suspects are in custody after allegedly robbing a pizza delivery driver in north county last week.
18-year-old Joey Hale Jr faces First Degree Robbery charges. Ava Jackson was arrested on Friday for allegedly ordering the pizza that the driver was delivering when the robbery occurred.
St. Louis County Police allege that Hale Jr and a third suspect jumped from the bushes outside a Spanish Lake apartment complex. The suspects were both armed, one with an AK-47 assault rifle, when they demanded money from the driver.
St. Louis County Police continue to work undercover with delivery companies. The campaign started after several Imo's Pizza drivers were robbed last year.
The third suspect remains on the loose.
Pizza delivery driver robbed by suspects with AK-47
Police say they have one suspect in custody connected to the robbery of a pizza deliver driver on Memorial Day.
Police say the driver was outside a Spanish Lake apartment complex when two men ran out of the bushes at the driver. KMOV reports one of the suspects was carrying an AK-47 assault rifle.
The second suspect remains on the loose.
Fake UPS driver arrested one month after taping woman to stove
A fake UPS driver is in custody after allegedly tying up and robbing an Ellisville woman a month ago.
Tyson McGuire faces several felony charges including theft and kidnapping. Police say on April 27 McGuire posed as the delivery driver and after the victim opened the door, he barged into her house and taped her to the stove. That is when McGuire allegedly stole several items from her home.
St. Louis City Police learned where McGuire was staying and shared that with Ellisville Police who arrested him.
Police release photo of gas station robbery suspect
Police are asking for help to find the suspects who robbed a Cahokia gas station overnight.
The Midwest Petroleum convenience store was robbed around 2:30 AM. Three suspects smashed the front windows of the store. The suspects drove off in a blue Chevy truck with an American flag rear window cover. Police say there is damage to the right rear corner of the truck.

Late-night jogger robbed near Carondelet Park
Two late-night joggers were robbed near Carondelet Park around 12:30 this morning.
The victims told police a car pulled up next to them and the driver asked for directions. When one of the joggers approached the car, three teens assaulted him and stole his cell phone. The suspects piled into the car and sped off.
Police arrested two suspects in connection to the crime and a third is being held by juvenile authorities Two suspects remain at large. Police say the suspects are all thought to be between 15 and 18 years old.
