Drivers will soon need to the feed the parking meters in Downtown St. Louis on Saturdays.

The Parking Division announced that they will start enforcing expired meters on Saturday starting July 6. People will have to pay if they are parking between 8 AM and 7 PM. The change was unanimously approved by the City Commission on May 9. This makes parking enforcement consistent across the city.

Officers will issue warnings for the first two weekends in July before they start writing tickets on July 20.
