A Missouri teenager has pleaded guilty after running over and killing a toddler in June. Charles Guice (Geis) entered his plea Thursday in St. Louis County Court to leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident. He is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 16. Guice was speeding without a license on June 16 when he hit 2-year-old Darion Griffin as he tried to cross a street in front of his grandmother's house. It happened in the 1500 block of Redman Road in Spanish Lake. The boy's 17-year-old aunt also was hit when she tried to pull him out of the way of the car. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Guice, who was 17 at the time, told police he left the scene because he was afraid.
A total of three people now face charges connected to last week's fatal hit-and-run accident outside of Cahokia.
Kevin Powell was charged with several crimes Thursday, including reckless homicide, for allegedly hitting and killing 9-year-old Fabian Teson last Thursday.
A passenger in the vehicle, 17-year-old Devan Harris, was charged with two counts of obstruction justice.
25-year-old Alysa Sherwood owns the car that Powell was driving. She faces charges for letting him use the car.
St. Clair County officials say charges could come as soon as Thursday against a teenage driver suspected in a hit and run accident that killed a 9 year old boy last week.
Authorities located 17 year old Kevin Powell earlier Wednesday afternoon. Police started looking for Powell after they found the vehicle believed involved in the accident yesterday.
Nine year old Fabian Teson was hit while riding is bike near Cahokia last Thursday. Teson died at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital on Saturday. His funeral is set for Thursday, one week after he was struck.

St. Clair County sheriff's detectives say Fabian Teson was hit while riding his bike in the 2400 block of Lorraine in the Cahokia area around 12:30 Thursday afternoon.
Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center confirmed Sunday morning that the boy had died. Witnesses told police the child was struck by a late 1990s silver or grey Pontiac Grand Am, Grand Prix or Chevrolet Malibu.

A tearful plea today from the grandmother of a two-year-old boy who was killed by a hit and run driver Sunday night in Spanish Lake. "Whoever you are, please have a conscience. (sobs) And just come forward. My grandson did not deserve this."
St Louis County police say two-year-old Darion Griffin ran out into the street around 8 p.m. in the 1500 block of Redmond Road. Witnesses told police that a white SUV with tinted windows was speeding eastbound on Redmond near Bellefontaine Road when it hit the toddler and his 17-year-old aunt, Sheria Evans. Police say Evans was trying to pull the child from the path of the vehicle. The SUV didn't stop.
Both victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where the boy was pronounced dead. The teen suffered minor injuries.

A 34 year old St. Louis man is facing charges for a hit-and-run accident that sent a pregnant woman and her six year old son to the hospital Monday night.
Police say the 23 year old woman and her son were crossing the street near Natural Bridge and North Grand a little after 10:00 p.m. when they were struck. Both were seriously injured. The woman is eight months pregnant, but her unborn child appears to be unharmed.
Menkara Rahman is now charged with leaving that accident scene. He's jailed on a $35,000 cash-only bond.
The search continues for a driver who hit a man then left the scene.
Police say the accident happened at the Park Meadows Apartments near Woods Mill and Manchester just after midnight today. The victim remains in the hospital with unknown injuries.
Police have not released any description of the suspect's car.
St Louis police are trying to track down the driver of a hit and run who collided with another car on South Grand.
Investigators say both vehicles were northbound on Grand at Juniata when one of the cars cut into the traffic lane, clipping the other car and sending that vehicle into a light pole and newly installed traffic signal. The car flipped over from the impact. The female driver was not seriously hurt but the car is heavily damaged.
The driver responsible continued driving northbound on Grand and remains at large.
The search continues for a hit-and-run driver Wednesday afternoon.
Fox 2 reports the driver hit two people near the intersection of West Florissant and Pope. The victims were taken to the hospital in unknown condition. No description of the suspect's vehicle has been released.
22-year-old Anthony Connors was found in a ditch a week ago. The Collinsville police were not available for an update today, but previously said they have narrowed their search to a pickup truck from the early 2000's. The vigil was held near the scene of the accident along Route 157 around 1PM.
