Officials encourage residents to sign up for weather alert system
Officials from St. Louis and surrounding communities are encouraging residents to sign up for a weather alert system.
KSDK reports that St. Louis and St. Peters both participate in the Nixle Emergency Message system. St. Louis residents, text STLCEMA to 888777 to receive updates.
St. Peters residents should register through the city's website, www.stpetersmo.net
