Florissant police search for missing girl

Monday, 07 October 2013 08:25 Published in Local News

Police in Florissant are asking for help in finding a 14 year old girl they regard as missing, but also say could have run away, so they need more information before they can issue an Amber Alert.  Dominique Cherry-Jones has been missing since Wednesday. She was last seen with a female friend wearing all black and carrying a blue bag. Cherry never showed up for classes at McClure High School something her family says is completely out of character.  Her mom, Sheri told Fox2 News, “I’m not sure if she’s being held against her will, but I just want her back home. She has always had big goals and big dreams and big ambitions and never did this before.”  Relatives say they believe the teen is in danger.

Albert Pujols sues Jack Clark

Friday, 04 October 2013 10:41 Published in Local News

Former Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols has filed a lawsuit against another former Cardinal over allegations of steroid abuse. Pujols filed a suit today against Jack Clark, after Clark in August said on the radio that Pujols was a juicer and used performance enhancing drugs. The suit claims that Clark's comments have damaged Pujols' reputation, caused him humiliation, mental anguish, and anxiety. The suit also names Clark as a "struggling radio talk show host" while describing Pujols' reputation as "impeccable and beyond reproach." No dollar figure is mentioned in the lawsuit, but it does seek damages. It also asks for a formal declaration from Clark that the comments are false. Pujols has always vehemently denied steroid allegations.
