Royal family reveals name for newest addition

Wednesday, 24 July 2013 14:14 Published in National News

(CNN) – The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have named their son George Alexander Louis.

After showing off their royal bundle to the world, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are doing what new parents do after the big birth show is over. They enjoy some incredibly sweet moments alone with their baby.

Kensington Palace made an official statement about this development Wednesday, saying that William and Catherine are now down to the business of getting “to know their son.”

The St. Charles Police Department is giving residents tips on how to avoid being burglarized.

They remind everyone to lock doors and windows at night, and to make sure garage doors are shut and vehicles are locked. Just this month, the department has investigated several burglaries where suspect entered homes through unlocked back doors and through open garage doors.

Officials are putting more officers on the streets, but say residents should remain vigilant.

Anyone with information regarding burglaries is asked to call the St. Charles Police Department at 636-949-3320 or the anonymous tip line at 636-949-3333.
