SLU Law names new dean...again

ST. LOUIS (AP) - A former Missouri Supreme Court justice has been named dean of the Saint Louis University Law School.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the hiring of Michael Wolff was announced today - a day after interim dean Tom Keefe resigned over what he called "politically incorrect" statements to faculty.

Los Angeles NFL stadium could be a no-go

Could be good news for Rams fans. It seems that a plan to build a NFL stadium in Los Angeles may be dead before work begins.

Yahoo Sports reports that the plan may be called of due to economic factors. The main investor in the stadium, AEG, worries about making enough money to pay debt on the stadium. LA was considered the most likely landing spot for the Rams if they leave St. Louis.

Missouri Baptist University to add football program

A university in West County is adding a football team to their varsity sports lineup.

KSDK reports that Missouri Baptist University will scrimmage next year, but plans to compete in the NAIA in 2014. Officials expect to recruit over 100 new students for football and more for the expanded cheerleading program.

MBU will play their home games on CBC's field.
