Man admits to kidnapping and attempted rape

Smith forced her into his car at knife-point and drove her a few blocks away. That is when he ripped off the teen's pants and shoes. She was able to fight him off and got help from a passing driver.
Prosecutors will ask for life in prison when Smith is sentenced in April.
Governor Nixon asks for $10 million more in mental health funding

Police search for man accused of shooting, killing woman in O'Fallon, MO home
Wednesday, 06 February 2013 17:23 Published in Local NewsPolice say Terry Culberson shot 55-year-old Dorothy Hall several times. Officers responded to the house at 5:15 PM after being called to check in on the woman. That is where they found her body. During their investigation, police learned that Culberson had made threats against Hall and her family on Monday.
Culberson has a previous conviction for assault with intent to kill and should be considered armed and dangerous.
