ANKARA, Turkey (AP) - Turkey's state-run news agency says police are rounding up dozens of people suspected of membership in a left-wing militant group that has claimed responsibility for a suicide attack at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara earlier this month.

It was the second major sweep against suspected members of the Revolutionary People's Liberation Party-Front, or DHKP-C, since January. It wasn't immediately clear if the arrests were directly linked to the embassy bombing which killed a Turkish security guard on Feb. 1.

The Anadolu Agency said Tuesday police were arresting dozens of people in 28 provinces across Turkey.

The DHKP-C has claimed responsibility for assassinations and bombings since the 1970s but had been relatively quiet in recent years.

PRETORIA, South Africa (AP) - A South African prosecutor charges Olympian Oscar Pistorius with the premeditated murder of his model girlfriend.

The prosecutor said Tuesday that Pistorius shot 29 year old Reeva Steenkamp four times through the bathroom door of his home in a guarded and gated complex in the South African capital, Pretoria. Prosecutor Gerrie Nel told the court the door had been broken open.

The family of the 26 year old Paralympian and Olympic athlete says police evidence will show there should be no murder charge in the Valentine's Day shooting.

Pistorius, in a gray suit, blue shirt and tie appeared grim and solemn in court. He nodded after the chief magistrate asked if he was well.

Ellisville Mayor Adam Paul shouldn't be impeached for trying to have a resident removed from a recent City Council meeting. That's according to the Ellisville Charter Enforcement Commission, which unanimously voted Monday night to dismiss a complaint against the mayor.

Mayor Paul has been at odds with several City Council members over a Walmart TIF project that he had opposed. Discussion over the TIF has led to several contentious council meetings, including the meeting in which Paul had tried to have a disruptive resident removed.

Last night's commission meeting wasn't without it's own drama. At one point, Mayor Paul's attorney, Lynette Petruska was removed from the meeting for allegedly disruptive behavior.

Still, the three-member commission sided with Paul. But it might not end there. The City Council could still vote to pursue the matter at Wednesday's meeting.
