The feud between former Cardinals sluggers Albert Pujols and Jack Clark has taken another turn.
It all started when Jack Clark went on the air this summer, accused Pujols of using performance enhancing drugs. Pujols then threatened to sue Clark and the radio station that employed him, which led to Clark's termination.
Monday, Clark's lawyer Albert Watkins sent a letter to Pujols' attorney, requesting that the former Cardinals MVP take a polygraph test to prove he didn't use steroids. The letter states that if Pujols won't take a polygraph, Watkins has been instructed to proceed with a highly charged, entertaining, and public spectacle.
Pujols has always vehemently denied any steroid use.
