Gas Prices Continue Rising In St. Louis

St. Louis, MO -- Retail gasoline prices in St. Louis continue to rise, increasing nearly a nickel per gallon this past week. According to GasBuddy.com, the average cost of a gallon of regular gas in the Gateway City is $3.60.  This compares with the national average that has increased just over 3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.59. 
Gas prices in St. Louis yesterday were 13.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 20 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. 
The national average has increased 9 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 7 cents per gallon higher than this day one year ago.

St. Louis drivers pay more to fill up

Average retail gasoline prices in St. Louis rose 9 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.27 per gallon on Sunday.  

This is according to GasBuddy's daily survey of nearly one thousand gas outlets in St. Louis. The national average has increased 5 cents per gallon in the last week and stands at  $3.40 a gallon.

Gas prices in St. Louis during the past week are 37 cents per gallon lower than at the same time one year ago. Even though the national average has increased more than 12 cents per gallon during the last month, it still stands 33 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.

Gas prices continue to fluctuate

Average retail gasoline prices in St. Louis have risen 3.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.19 a gallon on Sunday.
This is according to GasBuddy.com's daily survey of nearly one thousand gas outlets in St. Louis. This compares with the national average that has increased 5.0 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.34 a gallon.
Gas prices in St. Louis yesterday were 53 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago, but 13 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The national average has increased 6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 34 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.

Gasoline prices trended downward in St. Louis this past week.  According to GasBuddy.com, prices have fallen 11.3 cents per gallon, averaging $3.20 a gallon on Sunday.  GasBuddy surveys nearly one-thousand gas outlets in St. Louis everyday. The national average has fallen 4.5 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.49 per gallon. Yesterday's prices in St. Louis were 38.9 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and 35.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.
