After 30 years, Dierdorf & Harts restaurant is closing its doors at West Port Plaza May 18th.  

Despite high praise for West Ports Plaza's new management team,  Dierdorf & Hart owner Lou Garesche tells KTRS news the upscale eatery will close its doors for good.

Gareshe says the decision was a personal one. "The restaurant takes more and more of my time and I couldn't make the emotional and physical comittment to continue forward."  

Garashe does not plan to retire but will explore other ventures.   In an email to customers, the staff says they will honor all gift certificates and discounts. vb ktrs news.

West Port Plaza is run by Bob O'Loughlin and his  Lodging Hospitality Management group who is also renovating Union Station and the Airport Marriott.
