3 St. Louis children were rescued as part of a nationwide crackdown on child prostitution.
The FBI announced today that the sting was carried out over the last three days and resulted in 150 arrests and the recovery of 105 kids. An FBI spokesperson said this is a reminder that child prostitution can happen anywhere.
There were no arrests made as part of the sting in St. Louis.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - A 46-year-old convicted sex offender accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting two southeast Missouri girls has pleaded guilty to federal child pornography charges.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Jeffrey D. Shelton, of Poplar Bluff, pleaded guilty Wednesday to production, attempted production and possession of child pornography. Sentencing is July 15.
Prosecutors say Shelton abducted a 5-year-old child in October 2012 and produced videos of the child engaged in sexual conduct at his Butler County home. Authorities also said Shelton's cellphone contained other visual depictions of another 10-year-old child engaged in sexual activity.
Shelton spent more than 20 years in prison for kidnapping and sexually assaulting three children in Texas in the early 1990s.
ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) - A registered sex offender in St. Charles County has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to more sex crimes.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 54-year-old Dennis Lee Noack of St. Charles was sentenced Monday to three life terms for statutory sodomy and child molestation. The sentences will run concurrently.
The three victims ranged in age from 7 to 16.
Noack was previously convicted of sexual conduct with a 12-year-old girl in a 2000 case, and sentenced to 179 days in jail.
