Parents of students in one Jefferson County school district can expect a letter after a tense incident Tuesday morning.

Missouri Treasurer Clint Zweifel's campaign to return property to its rightful owner is breaking records.

Zweifel's office has returned nearly $40 million in fiscal year 2013. Compare that to around $38 million last year. Zweifel says there is still room for improvement in the program. There is still over $230 million in unclaimed property for the St. Louis region.
