A bankruptcy filing this week means a St. Charles County woman who successfully sued the producers of "Girls Gone Wild" videos may never see her court ordered award.

GGW Brands filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in Los Angeles Wednesday. The petition listed more than $16 million in disputed claims, including the nearly $6 million a judge awarded to Tamara Favazza in 2010.

Favazza had sued GGW subsidiaries Mantra Films and MRA Holding after she appeared in a "Girls Gone Wild" video. Favazza claimed that in 2004 someone working for the production company had lifted her tank top in front of the camera, and that she hadn't agreed to expose herself for the video. The incident happened at a downtown St. Louis bar.

Favazza’s lawyers are still battling to collect the judgement.

Emergency crews have cleared a two vehicle accident on westbound Interstate 44 near Six Flags. The crash happened just before 5 a.m.

All lanes have now reopened along westbound I-44 just past the Allenton/Six Flags exit. The intestate had been closed completely earlier this morning.

Traffic should return to normal quickly.

There's also no word on any injuries or what may have caused the accident.

On the same day that St. Louis University's embattled president issued a letter offering a conciliatory tone, some university alumni expressed their disapproval of Father Lawrence Biondi at the Billiken's basketball game.

At the start of the game, a group raised a banner that read "Alums for No Confidence," a reference to the no confidence votes issued by the university faculty and student government late last year.

In Biondi's 20 page report to campus yesterday, he acknowledged the criticism against him. He said that although he didn't agree with all of it, he's "committed to being part of the solution; to working more closely with those...who say that their voices are not being heard.”
