The search for a woman reported missing from University of Missouri-St. Louis is over.

University officials issued a missing person alert last week for Allison Reed. Her father dropped her off at a university housing complex around 8 PM Thursday.

A university spokesman says Reed was found at a nearby hospital. She is not currently enrolled in classes, but lives in a students facility.

TROY, Mo. (AP) - A former St. Charles County middle school teacher has been sentenced to seven years in prison for secretly videotaping boys as they undressed in a camp shower.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 39-year-old Matthew Hansen of Winfield was sentenced last week for possession of child pornography. Hansen is also awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty in federal court to eight counts of attempted production of child porn. The state and federal sentences will run concurrently.

Hansen is a former math teacher at West Middle School in the Fort Zumwalt district.

Authorities say the crimes happened between 2007 and 2012. School officials have cited evidence that Hansen videotaped at least 80 boys at an outdoor education camp in Cuivre River State Park in Lincoln County.

AP: Federal agents ID suspect in Naval Yard shooting

Monday, 16 September 2013 14:43 Published in National News

WASHINGTON (AP) - Federal law enforcement officials say the man accused in a shooting rampage at the Washington Navy Yard that left at least 12 people dead has been identified as Aaron Alexis.

The two officials spoke Monday to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

One of those officials says Alexis was a 34-year-old from Texas. He is believed to have a criminal record there and to be a holder of a concealed carry weapon permit.

That official says Alexis is believed to have gotten into the Navy Yard by using someone else's identification card. It is not yet clear if that individual was an accomplice or if that person's ID card was stolen.
