Suspect shoots man with assault rifle

Two men are on the loose after allegedly shooting someone with an assault rifle Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the suspects drove up to another car near the intersection of Cote Brilliante and Kingshighway in North St. Louis. One suspect got out the car and started shooting at the victim in the other car. The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.

The incident happened in front of a halfway house for released convicts.

Students released early after threat on school

Students are being dismissed from Confluence Academy after a threat was made against the school today.

Police are investigating the threat. Fox 2 reports that the school is not on lock-down but classes were let out early. The threat was at the schools campus at 3112 Meramec.
