One woman is in custody after the robbery of an AT&T store.

The Illinois State Police stopped the woman because the car she was driving matched the description of the vehicle seen at the scene of the robbery. A search of the car turned up several cell phones and other items related to the robbery.

Police believe two male suspects are still on the loose and should be considered armed and dangerous. The suspects entered the south county store just before ten this morning and tied the employees up in the back room.

Power is back at US Bank Plaza downtown.

Ameren officials say it should be business as usual today after a 36-story downtown office building was evacuated yesterday because of an underground transformer fire.

Ameren officials say the transformer was inside a vault under a sidewalk at 7th Street and Locust.

Fire crews rescued at least ten people from elevators.  No injuries were reported.

EARLIER:

An underground electrical fire has forced the evacuation of a building in downtown St. Louis.

Fire crews are on the scene at 7th and Washington. Images show thick smoke pouring out of grates on the street. Tenants of some other nearby buildings are not being allowed to leave.

Fire crews are waiting for Ameren to cut power to the area so they can continue to fight the blaze.

In the first week of summer, the heat index is already flirting with triple digits.

Ameren Missouri is trying to help low-income and elderly customers stay safe in the heat--they are giving away air conditioner window units through charities. Ameren is donating 665 units to several organizations and agencies. 300 of the units are going to the Urban League of St. Louis.

To request one, city residents can call 314-615-3624 if you’re a city resident, and county residents should dial 314-388-9840.
