Budweiser is offering a dream prize for one lucky Cardinals fan.
<br><br>
Fans 21 and older can text the word HITCH to 23377 (BEERS) and be entered to win four tickets to the Home Opener on April 8. But how the tickets are delivered is the real prize. The Budweiser Clydesdales will bring the tickets to the winners home and they will be hand-delivered by pitcher Chris Carpenter. This contest is part of promotion for a limited edition of Budweiser cans that celebrate baseball.

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- A southwestern Illinois meat cutter who sued after a prize for his hole in one during a charity golf tournament wasn’t paid out as promised has carded a legal victory.

The (Alton) Telegraph reports that a Madison County judge has awarded Donald Beiermann of Godfrey an $11,000 judgment against the Alton church that sponsored the tournament and the Godfrey course that hosted it.

Beiermann scored the ace on the 17th hole, where a sign promised such a feat would win an $11,000 trip for four to California’s Pebble Beach Golf Course.

A specialty insurer refused to pay, arguing the contract provided that the hole in one must be on a hole at least 165 yards long. Biermann’s ace, witnessed by three companions, was on a hole 149 yards long.
ST. CLAIR, Mo. (AP) - A fat cat that drew international attention when its owner turned him over to a shelter is now living at a sanctuary for hard-to-place animals in eastern Missouri.
<br><Br>
The cat, named Biscuit, weighed 37 pounds when he was taken to the St. Charles shelter. More than 110 people offered to adopt him before he was placed with a couple from Eureka earlier this month.

However, Biscuit fought with a cat at that home and the couple couldn't keep him. On Saturday, Biscuit was turned over to The Shannon Foundation sanctuary for hard-to-place animals outside St. Clair in Franklin County. He'll stay there permanently, living with about 75 other animals.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Biscuit weighed 33.2 pounds on Thursday. His goal weight is 14.8 pounds.
