CVC hires Goldman Sachs to help keep Rams in St. Louis

The St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority has hired investment banking firm Goldman Sachs to help find a way to keep the Rams in the Edward Jones Dome, or at least in St. Louis.

Goldman will advise the authority on how to pay for dome renovations and increase revenue if the Rams leave the building. The authority board approved the hiring yesterday.

Blues recall Jake Allen from AHL affiliate

The Blues have called up goaltender Jake Allen from their AHL affiliate the Peoria Rivermen.

The move comes after Jaroslav Halak aggravated a groin injury before game against the Kings last night. Allen has appeared in 31 games for the Rivermen and recorded two shutouts.

Blues next game is Wednesday night as they visit the Red Wings in Detroit.

Police ask for help to ID bank robbery suspect

The St. Louis Police need help to find a man who tried to rob a south city Bank of America on January 28.

Police say the suspect never showed a weapon during the attempted robbery and ran away before getting any cash. The suspect is described as a black male, about 40 years old and around six feet tall.

CrimeStoppers is offering a 1,000 dollar reward for information that leads to an arrest.
