200 jobs are coming to Kirkwood when a new restaurant opens its doors next month.

Billy G's, a member of the Gianino Family of Restaurants, is holding a job fair this week. The fair runs today through Friday, from 11 AM to 6 PM, at 4587 Chesnut Park Plaza in Oakville. They are hiring for every position from managers to the kitchen staff.

Billy G's will serve traditional Italian and American food with additions inspired by the Kirkwood Farmer's Market.

Fire damaged at the House of India restaurant in University City. The front door is boarded up following a fire overnight Friday. The building is now condemned. The fire started around 12:15 a.m. at the 20-year-old restaurant which is located at Delmar Blvd.and Berick Drive. University City firefighters got a call for reports of smoke coming from the roof. Crews found a fire in the kitchen. They were able to keep the fire to the kitchen and put it out in less than 45 minutes. The restaurant had only been closed a couple of hours. There are no reports of injuries.
