An endangered persons advisory has been cancelled after three children were found safe.

Authorities in St. Francois County say  7 year old Jesus Mendoza, 5 year old Juliana Mendoza, and 3 year old Jaysnia Mendoza were found last night.

Police say the children's mother, 28 year old Julie Mendoza doesn't have custody and she failed to return the children after a weekend visit.

The children were located with their mother and her boyfriend in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  It's believed they were en route to California.

   Charges are likely.

PARAMUS, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a man suspected of firing multiple shots and causing a lockdown at New Jersey's largest shopping mall has been found dead of a self-inflicted wound.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli says the body of 20-year-old Richard Shoop of Teaneck was found in a back area of the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus early Tuesday. He says Shoop killed himself with the same weapon he used at the mall and that a note has been found.

   There were no other injuries.

Police received reports of man who fired multiple shots shortly before the mall's 9:30 p.m. closing time on Monday, sending customers and employees rushing hysterically for the exits and hiding places.

The mall, which has more than 270 stores, is located in Bergen County, about 15 miles northwest of Manhattan.

Egypt: Judge in Morsi's trial adjourns hearing

Monday, 04 November 2013 03:28 Published in National News

CAIRO (AP) - Egypt's state TV says the judge in the trial of the country's deposed Islamist president and 14 others has adjourned the hearing soon after it started because the defendants' chants were disrupting the proceedings.

The adjournment - likely to last till later on Monday - came after a two-hours delay in the start of the proceedings.

Security officials inside the courtroom says the delay was caused by Mohammed Morsi's insistence not to change into the prison uniform customarily worn by defendants, part of his refusal to recognize the trial's legitimacy.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.

Morsi and the others are charged with inciting murder and could face the death penalty if convicted.
