St. Louis, MO  --  St. Louis police are back on the hot-spot policing beat in a south city neighborhood.

The Metropolitan Police Department's Command Van will remain in Tower Grove South and extra uniformed and plainclothes officers will patrol the neighborhood.

This is in an effort to stem a rash of burglaries, robberies and car break-ins in the area.

Early next month, police will turn their hot-spot attention to the Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood in north city.
