Panera becomes the first national chain to release list of unacceptable ingredients
St. Louis, MO (KTRS) – Panera Bread is continuing their move to use more natural products.
The company announced plans to stop using more than 150 artificial ingredients in their items, including high fructose corn syrup, aspartame, and artificial colors. Panera becomes the first national restaurant chain to share a list of unacceptable ingredients.
They hope to eliminate the items by 2016.
Additionally, Panera says salad dressings will not contain artificial sweeteners, colors, flavors and preservatives.
