Police Ask Public For Help In Credit Card Cloning Case

ST. LOUIS, MO  –  A trio of police departments is asking for the public’s help in identifying a fraud suspect.

The St. Peters Police Department, along with Kirkwood and Manchester police departments say that in late March, the unidentified suspect used several credit cards in the St. Louis area, purchasing high dollar electronic items and spending over $1000 on several victims’ accounts.

It is not known how the suspect acquired the victim’s credit and debit card account numbers, but the information was then cloned on to new cards.

The suspect made purchases at the Wal-Mart in St. Peters, Manchester and Kirkwood.

He is described as a white male, 25-35 years old with a stocky build. he was last seen driving a silver colored Chevy Malibu.

Anyone with information is asked to contact St. Peters, Kirkwood  or the Manchester police departments.
