Baby dies inexplicably in Jennings
JENNINGS, Mo. (AP) - St. Louis County police are investigating the death of a 2-month-old boy in Jennings.
The child is identified as Adrian Robertson. Police were called to a home about 3 p.m. Monday. Adrian was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead about an hour later. His cause of death was not released.
Toxicology tests have been performed and the medical's examiner's office is awaiting results.
Two suspects sought in fatal Jennings shooting
Police are still looking for two men who shot and killed a Jennings man Friday night.
Police say 38 year old Anthony Sherill had been unloading groceries from his vehicle about 8 p.m. when the two men approached. Sherrill ran inside his home in the 5400 block of Hamilton, but the men followed. Police say the suspects shot Sherill in the chest inside his home and then fled.
Sherill was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police haven't released a possible motive for the murder.
Speeding car crashes into north city apartment building
A Jennings woman is in serious but stable condition after she crashed her car into a north city apartment building Thursday night. It happened just before midnight at Martin Luther King and Burd.
The crash punched a hole in the Arlington Grove Jeffery L. Boyd building. Crews spent most of Friday morning cleaning up the mess.
St.Louis police say the 33 year old woman had been speeding, blowing through two stop signs along Dr. King, before swerving to avoid a stopped car. That's when she lost control, hit two stop signs, a light pole and a metal trash can before crashing into the building.
Police say no one inside the building was hurt.
Two men charged in Jennings homicide
Prosecutors have charged with 25-year-old Anthony Primm and 24-year-old Bernard Eric Wilson III with second-degree murder and first-degree burglary. Both are being held in St. Louis County Jail on $500,000 cash bail. Online court records don't list lawyers for either men.
Prosecutors claim Primm entered the home through an attic vent and is accused of taking various items from the home when Hutchinson was shot.
