ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) — A female student says she was sexually assaulted in a library bathroom at Lindenwood University.

The St. Charles school sent email and emergency text message alerts to its students on Friday. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that police and campus security are investigating.

The woman told police she was attacked in a downstairs bathroom in Butler Library between 10 p.m. and midnight Tuesday. The student said her attacker was hiding in a stall and came at her from behind. She ran away after a brief struggle.

ST. CHARLES, Mo. (AP) - A former Lindenwood University student must serve 90 days in jail, pay the school $5,000 and publicly apologize for publishing confidential student information online.

The St. Charles County prosecutor's office said Addison Richard Todd was sentenced Monday. He previously pleaded guilty to two counts of tampering with computer data and one count of tampering with a computer user. Both are misdemeanors.

In March, an anonymous source began using Twitter and a Web-based file-sharing site to release a list of more than 180 students who had been suspended the previous semester. Student phone numbers, Social Security numbers, email addresses and grade-point averages were also posted.

Todd must also pay about $1,600 in restitution to St. Charles County's cybercrime investigative unit, and is banned from any Lindenwood campuses.

Lindenwood University's diving coach is in a bit of hot water after allegedly trying to punch a police officer during a traffic stop.

Kyle Friesenhahn was pulled over on February 3 for suspicion of DUI. After being taken to the police station, officers say he spit on an officer and threw a punch, but missed. Lindenwood placed Friesenhahn on unpaid leave last week and he was released from a part-time job as diving coach for schools in the Ft. Zumwalt School District.
