Organizers say that because of the Boston Marathon bombings tighter security will be in place at a St. Louis race.

Helen Chestnut--executive director for the Susan G Komen race for the cure tells KTRS News nearly 40-thousand people are expected for this Saturday's race. Police do not plan to search backpacks but Chestnut offers this advice, "You bring a backpack keep it with you. There are the see-through backpacks that are good too. But the main thing is to keep...your personal items with you."

Noticeable extra security measures include bomb-detection dogs, security cameras and uniformed officers. St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson also asks participants to report anyone who looks suspicious. The race kicks off around 7:30 Saturday morning.

Workers are back at it on the Blanchette Bridge today for the first time since a contractor died earlier this week.

51-year-old Patrick Bray was killed after a large drum fell on him on Monday. The accident delayed work on 70 at the Fifth Street exit.

MoDOT says that work will start Monday night and run through July 8. Crews will close one lane of westbound 70 while the resurface the Fifth Street Bridge.

Drivers are advised to use alternate routes while the additional closures are in effect.

A list of the most sinful cities in America names St. Louis as the true Sin City.

Real estate blog Movoto compiled the list using the Seven Deadly Sins.

The sin scores were compiled using the following metrics:

Strip clubs per capita (Lust)

Cosmetic surgeons per capita (Pride)

Violent crime per year per 1,000 residents (Wrath)

Theft per year per 1,000 residents (Envy)

Percentage of disposable income given to charity each year (Greed)

Percentage of obese residents (Gluttony)

Percentage of physically inactive residents (Sloth)

St. Louis finished in the top three of three sins, Wrath, Envy, and Sloth.

Surprisingly, Las Vegas was listed as the 10th most sinful city.
