Wentzville Resident Legally Allowed To Shoot Fireworks On Fourth Of July

Wentzville, MO  (KTRS)  It’s going to be a big bang in Wentzville on the Fourth of July.

At the Board of Aldermen meeting Wednesday night, Mayor Nick Guccione rescinded his veto on a measure to allow residents to legally use fireworks. Residents will be allowed to shoot off fireworks from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Independence Day.

The Board of Alderman approved the measure by a vote of 4-1 on June 10th. Last week, Mayor Guccione vetoed the measure. Earlier reports suggested that the Board of Aldermen had enough votes to override the veto.
